Product Details
Description:Iron-based friction material takes iron as the main component, with some non-metallic elements added, and is manufactured via powder metallurgy process. It is mainly applied in dry brakes. The material features high dynamic and static friction coefficients, large torque transmission capacity, and high temperature resistance, making it suitable for harsh working conditions. The brakes and clutches adopting this material have a simple structure and can form friction pairs with ordinary steel or powder metallurgy materials.
Application:Iron-based friction material can be applied to main clutches and brakes of special vehicles, marine machinery, vehicle brake shoes, etc.
Specifications:
1. Dynamic friction coefficient: 0.28~0.35 (ordinary steel counterpart); 0.40~0.55 (PM counterpart)
2. Static friction coefficient: ≥0.45 (ordinary steel counterpart); ≥0.50 (PM counterpart);
3. Wear rate: ≤5×10-7cm3/J;
4. Allowable specific pressure: 1~4MPa.
