Copper-base friction material takes copper as main component and adds alloy elements to strengthen the basis material, uses elements of graphite, lead, silicone dioxide etc to improve friction wearing performance, and applies powder metallurgy press sintering or sprinkling sintering procedures to finish the friction material, which has features of high temperature resistance and perfect friction performance. It can be used in dry or wet working conditions.
Iron-base friction material takes iron as main component, adds some non-metallic elements and is finished via power metallurgy method. It is mainly used in dry brake. The material is high in static and dynamic frictional coefficiencies, large in torque transmit, high temperature resistance, and suitable for severe working condition. Brake and clutch using the material is simple in structure, which can form friction pair with plain steel or sintered materials.
Using paper-making technology, the paper-base friction material is produced by making sorts of reinforced fibres, friction components and anti-friction components into pulp suspension, making friction paper, then impregnating resin, solidifying and sticking onto steel core plate. It possesses features of high and stable friction coefficiency, close static and dynamic friction coefficiencies, smooth and soft engagement, low noise and strong power absorbing capabilitiy, widely used in applications of wet clutch and brake.
Nano friction material applies special technology to add nano material into copper-base friction material, improving wear resistance and permissible energy load of copper-base friction material; and performs covering treatment to nano material, to not only prevent nano material from agromerating, but also improve tight binding of nano material to the basis material.
Dual steel disc is relative wearing material of friction disc, which forms friction pair with friction disc.
P/M antifriction material is material finished via powder metallurgy technology after adding lubricating components or sintering porous basis skeleton and impregnating liquid lubricating component. It can be divided into copper-base antifriction material and composite self-lubricating material, which is used in parts reducing friction, such as, bearing, wearing pad etc.
P/M structural parts are made via powder metallurgy technology, including iron-base and copper-base structural parts.
Other friction materials include wet carbon-carbon-base friction material, semi-metallic friction material and molded graphite friction material etc.
