Wind Turbine Gearbox Research Institute

Wind Power Gearbox Research Institute We are the dedicated design department specializing in the development of gearbox products for power-related industries such as wind power, tidal energy, nuclear power, gas-fired power generation, thermal power, and gas expansion power generation, as well as various high-speed transmission applications.

Leading Specialty: We research and develop wind turbine main gearboxes, tidal power gearbox systems, nuclear power plant circulating pump gearboxes, gas-fired power generation gearboxes, steam turbine generator gearboxes, expander gearboxes, compressor gearboxes, centrifugal vacuum pump gearboxes, high-speed test bench gearboxes, and more.

Technical advantages: The development of wind turbine gearboxes incorporates technologies such as outer-ring-less bearings, sliding bearings, flexible pins, multi-planetary gears, differential power splitting, ring gear induction quenching, and root-area shot peening for enhanced durability. The resulting gearboxes feature high torque density, excellent load-sharing performance, superior reliability, and strong adaptability to sudden load changes. The company has spearheaded and actively contributed to the formulation of national and industry standards, including GB/T 19073 "Design Requirements for Wind Turbine Gearboxes" and NB/T 11370 "Design Requirements for Semi-Permanent Magnet Direct-Drive Wind Turbine Gearboxes."
