The GC series marine gearboxes are categorized into 4 sub-series based on the input/output arrangement: GCS/GCST/GCSE, GCH/GCHT/GCHE, GCD and GCC. They form the main marine propulsion system together with engine and controllable pitch propeller (CPP), and are widely used in bulk carriers, oil tankers, container ships, etc. The control methods include pneumatic control and electric control.
Main Technical Features:
1. Possess functions of clutching & de-clutching, speed reduction and bearing propeller thrust;
2. Modular design, with optional configurations such as PTO and PTI;
3. Multiple structural designs available to meet engine room layout requirements;
4. Equipped with reliable hydraulic control system, meeting gearbox operating conditions and multi-clutch control needs;
5. Adopts mechanical and automatic control, realizing local emergent operation and remote control of the gearbox;
6. Non-standard design available on request;
7. A CPP oil distributor can be installed at the front end of the gearbox output as needed.
