The 2GWH series marine gearbox, designed for Dual-Engine Parallel configurations, features a dual input and single output layout. It forms a ship’s main propulsion system together with engines and controllable pitch propeller (CPP). Marine propulsion systems with Dual-Engine Parallel are increasingly adopted due to their superior energy efficiency and enhanced safety.
Main Technical Features:
1. Possess functions of clutching & de-clutching, speed reduction and bearing propeller thrust;
2. Realizes dual power input and single output, meeting intelligent control requirements;
3. Modular design, with optional configurations such as PTO and PTI;
4. Multiple structural designs available to meet engine room layout requirements;
5. Equipped with reliable hydraulic control system, meeting gearbox operating conditions and multi-clutch control needs;
6. Adopts mechanical and automatic control, realizing local emergent operation and remote control of the gearbox;
7. Non-standard design available on request.
