Zhou Huanhui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of HAGG, delivered a semi-annual work report titled "Overcoming Challenges, Strengthening Foundations, and Striving Hard to Achieve the Company's Annual Business Goals." The report reviewed the company's performance in the first half of 2022 and outlined key expectations for the second half of the year.

In the first half of the year, Hangzhou Gear faced challenges head-on and proactively responded by intensively advancing new product development internally, while simultaneously leveraging automation and intelligent upgrades to enhance manufacturing and delivery capabilities. Externally, the company actively expanded into new markets, maintained its market share, and broadened the application scope of its products. Thanks to the collective efforts of all employees and cadres, the company not only achieved more than half of its planned targets but also secured notable accomplishments. Meanwhile, significant progress was made in areas such as corporate reform, human resource management, financial management, audit & legal affairs, as well as safety and environmental protection.

In the second half of the year, all units within the company must fully recognize the severity of the market situation, diligently and thoroughly accomplish all tasks assigned by the company, steadfastly implement the company’s decision-making requirements, and further strengthen efforts in areas such as market expansion, product innovation, process improvement, deepened reform, quality enhancement combined with increased production, and enhanced management. This approach should address both immediate needs—ensuring the successful completion of this year’s goals and targets—as well as long-term objectives, laying a solid foundation for future growth. Specifically, five key areas of focus have been outlined for the work ahead in the second half of the year:

1. Expand the market, seize market share, and strive for steady progress;

2. Optimize the genealogy, enhance performance, and drive innovation;

3. Strengthen the foundation, unlock potential, and enhance quality while boosting efficiency;

4. Expand channels, boost vitality, and put people first;

5. Promote reform, drive development, and focus on the long term.
