On the morning of June 14, HAGG held a meeting on large-scale fire safety inspections and remediation, as well as a work conference on safe production. Yang Shuiyu, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, Zhou Huanhui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, along with all cadres from both levels of management, attended the meeting.

Zhou Huanhui first read out the "Emergency Notice from the Xiaoshan District Fire Safety Committee and the Xiaoshan District Production Safety Committee on Immediately Launching a Comprehensive Fire Safety Inspection and Rectification Campaign Across the District" (Xiao Xiao An Wei [2022] No. 3), conveying the guiding principles from the recent meeting on large-scale fire safety inspections, rectifications, and production safety within the state-owned assets system: Strengthen the "safety awareness," ensuring thorough implementation at the level of safety mindset; build a robust "fireproof barrier," emphasizing rigorous enforcement of safety measures; weave a tight "safety net," focusing on effective implementation of safety inspections; and reinforce the "safety chain," prioritizing strong accountability and responsibility transmission. He also reported on the circumstances surrounding the "6·9" fire incident at the Linping District Ice and Snow World.

Yang Shuiyu emphasized: "We must deeply learn from the lessons, draw broader insights, and proactively strengthen risk prevention efforts. With a strong sense of mission, a robust sense of responsibility, and highly efficient execution, we must spare no effort to ensure safe production."

Zhou Huanhui outlined the specific requirements for subsequent safe production:

1. Attach great importance to it—ensure safety education is truly put into practice;

2. Ensure accountability is fully implemented, and regulatory measures must deliver tangible results.

3. Conduct thorough inspections and sustain relentless efforts in addressing and rectifying issues;

4. Conduct emergency drills, ensuring that the contingency plans are both scientific and practical;

5. Prevent risks and ensure safe production for the enterprise.

Zhou Huanhui emphasized: All units must place high priority on safety production from a mindset perspective, regularly conducting thorough inspections and rectifications related to fire safety, electrical systems, gas usage, elevated work, lifting operations, rental housing, and hazardous chemical storage facilities. Additionally, proactive prevention measures and strategies should be in place to address extreme weather conditions, and the duty roster and reporting system must be strictly enforced. We must firmly uphold our safety defenses to ensure peace and security in our respective areas, creating a stable and secure environment that supports the company's sustained growth and helps us warmly welcome the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
