On January 4, 2022, at the start of the new year, HAGG held its 2022 Safety, Environmental Protection, and Fire Prevention Signing Conference in the Multi-functional Hall. Attendees included heads of various company units, chairpersons of trade unions, and safety officers.

Yang Shuiyu, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of the company, signed the "2022 Safety, Environmental Protection, and Fire Prevention Target Management Responsibility Agreements" with the heads of 13 branch factories and subsidiaries, as well as the "2022 Safety, Environmental Protection, Fire Prevention, and Occupational Health Target Management Responsibility Agreements" for each subsidiary of HAGG. Following the signing ceremony, Chairman Yang outlined three key requirements for the company’s safety, fire prevention, and environmental protection efforts in 2022.

We must recognize the gaps. There is still a certain gap between the company’s safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention efforts and both the overall societal development requirements as well as the internal needs of the organization. All units within the company should fully understand the importance of this work and continuously enhance their management capabilities.

We must ensure accountability is put into practice. Focus should be on substantive implementation rather than mere formalities. Each unit, as the primary entity responsible for accountability, must clearly define responsibilities at every level and ensure that these responsibilities are systematically and thoroughly carried out, leaving no room for gaps in accountability.

We must take proactive action. It’s essential to transform the mindset and approaches to safety management by adopting a "benchmarking" method—identifying gaps and addressing them systematically—to drive continuous improvement. By setting clear standards and benchmarks, we can refine our management practices and achieve higher levels of safety and efficiency. All units should follow the company’s unified plan, conduct self-inspections and make necessary corrections promptly, ensuring peace and security in your respective areas.

Following this, Chairman Yang outlined the tasks for before and after the Spring Festival: to wrap up the work of 2021 effectively, carefully plan for 2022, and rigorously implement epidemic prevention and control measures.

Zhang Dejun, Secretary of the company's Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of the Trade Union, delivered a speech. He emphasized the need to continue the "Ankang Cup" competition activities, using them as a platform to safeguard employees' safety and health. Additionally, he urged the ongoing implementation of labor protection initiatives to create a secure working environment for all staff, while also strengthening education and awareness campaigns to enhance employees' safety consciousness and skills.

Deng Lin, Deputy General Manager of the company, chaired the meeting and urged all branch factories and subsidiaries to ensure that safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention efforts are implemented at every team and among every employee, while also strengthening ongoing initiatives for risk assessment and addressing potential hazards.

Hu Minggang, Director of the company's Comprehensive Security Department, summarized the 2021 achievements in safety, environmental protection, and fire control, and outlined the key tasks for 2022 in these areas.
