锣鼓喧天彩旗飘。5月22日，杭州前进齿轮箱集团股份有限公司第五届职工运动会开幕式暨趣味运动赛在公司大楼前广场上隆重召开。公司14个代表队近300位领导职工参加了此次运动会。
在雄壮的国歌声中，入场列队完毕的运动员们向徐徐升起的国旗行注目礼。礼毕，杭齿集团党委副书记、副总经理侯波致开幕词，他表示企业要顺应时代发展，融入“全民健身”，展示职工风采，并要弘扬“更快、更高、更强”的运动精神，把这种力量和激情投入到企业的生产、经营和改革发展中去。他预祝运动员赛出风采，运动会圆满成功。
随后，裁判员代表沈军和运动员代表韩翟杰分别致宣誓词。杭齿集团党委书记、董事长、总经理杨水余宣布公司第五届职工运动会开幕。开幕式由纪委书记、工会主席张德军主持。
趣味运动会正式开场后，各代表团运动员迅速就位，热身准备。比赛分为集体项目和个人项目。集体项目包括：摸石头过河、众志成城、团结一心、紧急行动、足球入框、集体跳绳；个人项目包括：踢毽子、定点投篮、党史问答暨飞镖计环赛、套圈赛。
运动员们全然不顾飘洒在身上的如丝细雨，在阵阵欢笑中进行着各项比赛。这边，“摸石头过河”的几组运动员脚踩两块木板，手持一块，不断移动前行，脚落地即败，进行一场难度极高的接力赛；之后的另一场“紧急行动”接力赛则采用了消防主题，在运动比赛中融入了“安全月”的要素；另一边，“足球入框”的比赛场地，随着足球“快很准”地射入框格，人群中发出一阵叫好声；“定点投篮”区，女将投篮也不输男儿，连进两球后得到了如潮的掌声；室内的比赛亦无比精彩，毽子在数数声中灵动地上下翻飞，手握长杆，齐喊口号的年轻人们，“众志成城”地做着仰卧起坐。“压轴大赛”当属跳长绳，随着长绳在空中划出一道道弧线，参赛运动员节奏一致，上下跃动，场上气氛到达了顶点。
比赛临近中午结束，经过紧张的统计，团体和个人名次花落各家。大功率厂代表团获得团体冠军，仓储管理部代表团获得团体亚军，齿轮厂代表团获得团体季军。趣味运动会比赛在掌声中圆满落下帷幕。
