2019年11月27-28日，由中国船级社浙江分社组织的“高速船用齿轮箱轻量化标准研究”科研项目评审会在杭州前进齿轮箱集团股份有限公司举行。专家评审组由中国船级社和杭州前进齿轮箱集团股份有限公司共8位人员组成。与会专家详细听取了项目组对该项目研究背景、过程和内容的介绍，对项目组所提交的《分级载荷齿轮传动装置审图和检验原则》进行了认真审议，并提出了合理的意见。
该项目自2016年立项，由中国船级社浙江分社和杭州前进齿轮箱集团股份有限公司共同主持。通过此次项目的研究，基本证实了我国轻型高速齿轮箱进行分级载荷工况应用的必要性和可行性。齿轮箱分级载荷应用，也大大提高了齿轮箱的功率密度，实现了齿轮箱轻量化的目标。
