– Grasp the political positioning, foster a harmonious atmosphere, and play the role of a key force.

On October 17, HAGG solemnly held the 15th Trade Union Members' Congress and the 15th Employee Representatives' Conference in its multi-functional hall. Yang Shuiyu, Hou Bo, Xu Guiqin, Zhang Dejun, and other members of the Presidium took their seats on the rostrum. Chen Jian, a member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union from the State-owned Assets Management Corporation, was invited to attend the meeting. During this session, key leadership positions within the trade union committee were renewed through an election process.

After the preparatory meeting concluded, the official session began. All delegates stood solemnly at attention as the national anthem was played. Tong Yanhua, Chairwoman of the Group Company’s Women’s Federation, delivered a congratulatory speech. Following this, Secretary Chen Jian delivered an important address, expressing the heartfelt gratitude of the State-owned Assets Corporation to every member of the Hangzhou Gear Workers’ Union. She also outlined three key expectations: First, strengthen responsibility and commitment, ensuring that the union truly becomes a cherished "home" for employees—covering not only their workplace but also their daily lives and spiritual well-being. Second, uphold pragmatism and innovation, empowering union members to actively take ownership of the enterprise. Finally, emphasize unity and collective strength, enabling union leaders to serve as vital bridges connecting the company with its workforce.

Xu Guiqin delivered the work report of the 14th Trade Union Committee at the meeting, titled "Strengthening the Foundation, Pooling Collective Wisdom, and Uniting and Mobilizing All Employees to Achieve New Milestones and Outstanding Results in Enterprise Development." The report highlighted that over the past three years, the trade union has focused on the company's core objectives, striving to build a workforce that aligns with the organization's developmental needs. It also emphasized efforts to foster harmonious and stable labor relations by prioritizing the dual goals of safeguarding employees' rights and interests. Additionally, the union has reinforced its commitment to delivering practical, innovative, and employee-focused services, enriched cultural programs to enhance employee well-being, and steadily improved the vitality and effectiveness of its own operations through robust foundational initiatives. The report further reflected on the insights gained from three years of trade union work: maintaining the correct political direction is the fundamental guarantee for advancing union activities; upholding workers' rights in accordance with the law is the core responsibility of the enterprise trade union; supporting the company's business growth and development remains the starting point and ultimate goal of union efforts; building a harmonious workplace is the trade union's essential mission; and continuously enhancing the union's own capabilities is the key factor in unlocking new possibilities for union work. Looking ahead, the report proposed the following recommendations: strengthen employee engagement and guidance to ensure alignment with the right political direction; uphold the "two safeguards" in strict compliance with laws and regulations; tap into the collective wisdom of employees to boost the company's economic performance; leverage the union's role as a vital bridge between management and staff to promote workplace harmony; and reinforce internal capacity-building to usher in a fresh chapter for union activities.

Afterward, Ding Lingyun delivered the work report of the 14th Trade Union Financial Committee, and Wu Fei presented the work report of the 14th Fund Supervision Committee. The conference then reviewed the aforementioned reports, and following a vote, unanimously approved all three reports, subsequently adopting a resolution.

The conference conducted a secret ballot and implemented proportional representation for the election, successfully electing the 15th Trade Union Committee and the 15th Financial Supervision Committee of the trade union. Through another round of secret ballot with equal representation, members were selected for the following working groups under the Workers’ Congress: the Livelihood and Welfare Group, the Democratic Evaluation Group, the Rationalization Proposal Group, and the Collective Contract Monitoring and Inspection Group. The 15th Trade Union Committee is composed of the following 21 comrades: Ding Lingyun, Wang Hong, Wang Xian, Tian Yongjian, Sun Yanhua, Yang Lan, Yang Xi'e, Shen Jun, Zhang Kai, Zhang Dejun, Chen Wei, Chen Shuren, Yu Lihong, Zhou Pingxia, Hu Fang, Hu Xia, Jiang Chunshuang, Luo Xiao, Gu Ping, Ge Biao, and Jiang Shaojun. Meanwhile, the 15th Financial Supervision Committee of the trade union consists of the following five comrades: Wang Hong, Sun Qian, Chen Zhihui, Zheng Zhongliang, and Hu Xia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Yang Shuiyu, Party Secretary and General Manager, extended his congratulations on the successful convening of the conference. He noted that over the past three years, the trade union has firmly maintained the correct political stance, vigorously advanced quality-building initiatives, and effectively served as a vital bridge connecting leadership with employees, wholeheartedly dedicating itself to serving the workforce. On behalf of the company’s Party Committee and administration, he expressed expectations and outlined key requirements for the newly elected trade union leadership and its delegates: Stay closely aligned with production and business operations, fully leveraging your role as the main force; uphold the right direction to provide strong support for the company’s ongoing reforms; and strengthen all functional areas to foster a harmonious and collaborative workplace environment.
