On the afternoon of October 11, the project proposal review meeting for the postdoctoral research topic of Dr. Yuan Zhe was held in the new conference room on the second floor of the HAGG's office building. The meeting brought together experts and leaders from both HAGG and Jilin University to evaluate Dr. Yuan's proposed research initiative. Attendees included Zhao Xing, Chief Staff Member of the Hangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; Zhao Xiangfu, Chief Staff Member of the Xiaoshan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; Zhou Xiaoqin, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Jilin University; Professors Liu Chunbao and Wang Tongjian; Lei Yulong, Vice Dean of the School of Automotive Engineering at Jilin University; as well as Yang Shuiyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of HAGG; Xu Guiqin, Deputy General Manager; Song Bin, Chief Engineer; Zhou Huanhui, Head of Hangchi Transmission (Anhui) Co., Ltd.; and other senior officials and experts from the company’s Technical Center and Human Resources Department.

Dr. Yuan Zhe was recruited by the Group Company in May 2019 from Jilin University to conduct research at the postdoctoral workstation focused on "Scale Analysis and Simulation of High-Power Hydraulic Torque Converters, along with Technology for Developing a Series of Product Lines." He graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Jilin University, specializing in Mechanical Design and Theory. Throughout his doctoral studies and professional career, Dr. Yuan has consistently dedicated himself to research in the fields of hydrodynamic transmission and automatic transmission systems.

Before the project proposal review meeting, Yang Shuiyu, Party Secretary and General Manager of the company, first extended a warm welcome to the leaders and professors attending the meeting. He then introduced the company’s strengths in scientific research and the progress of its postdoctoral program. Finally, he expressed his hope that Dr. Yuan would feel comfortable working at HAGG and leverage the research project to drive and enhance the company’s overall R&D capabilities.

During the project proposal review meeting, Dr. Yuan provided a comprehensive introduction to the postdoctoral research topic, covering various aspects such as the research direction, objectives, key technologies, anticipated outcomes, and team building. Following this, several reviewing experts posed detailed questions about Dr. Yuan’s research topic and offered valuable suggestions.

After a comprehensive review, the experts attending the meeting agreed that Dr. Yuan Zhe's proposed postdoctoral research project has clear objectives, a well-defined technical approach, and reasonable content, and thus approved the initiation of the project.

This meeting was chaired by Deputy General Manager Xu Guiqin.
