On October 8, the Party Committee Office organized a visit to Tang Shouqian's former residence in Datangwu New Village, Jinhua, Xiaoshan, for retired cadres from Hangzhou Gear Factory, celebrating the Double Ninth Festival together.

Tang Shouqian was an industrialist and political activist during the late Qing and early Republican periods, serving as a leading figure of the constitutionalist movement in the final years of the Qing dynasty. He gained widespread fame for his relentless advocacy of railway rights and his pivotal role in promoting railway development. His contributions to China's modern cultural progress will forever be remembered in history. The veteran officials listened attentively as the guide recounted Tang Shouqian's life—marked by his unwavering dedication to integrity, humility, and refusal to pursue personal gain or wealth. Some of the veterans even enthusiastically praised his principled stance against foreign investment in railway construction, giving him a thumbs-up in admiration.

After the tour, the veteran officials gathered together at Tianyu Kaiyuan. General Manager Yang Shuiyu extended his warm wishes for a happy Double Ninth Festival to everyone and briefed the veterans on Hangchi’s mixed-ownership reform, the newly appointed management team, and this year’s production and business performance. During the gathering, attendees warmly congratulated the veteran officials on their remarkable contributions to Hangchi’s growth and development, wishing them good health as they continue to witness the company’s steady and positive progress following the successful implementation of the mixed-ownership reform.
