HAGG Company Holds the 2017 Annual Work Conference and the 14th Session, Second Meeting of the Employee Representative Assembly

At the meeting, Feng Guang, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered the annual work report on behalf of the Group Company, titled "Press Onward Toward Transformation and Upgrading, Striving for the Healthy and Sustainable Development of Our Enterprise." The report highlighted that, in 2016, despite the challenging domestic and international economic conditions and market dynamics, the company, through the concerted efforts of the district government, the district state-owned assets corporation, and all its employees, successfully achieved the critical goal of turning losses into profits for the year, thereby ensuring a steady start to the "13th Five-Year Plan" development. Looking ahead to 2017, the report outlined the following key priorities: comprehensively deepen reform initiatives, drive reforms in the company's business model, promote innovative management practices, and implement reforms in the salary and compensation system; actively expand both domestic and international markets, firmly maintaining the company's competitive edge in the domestic market while broadening the reach of product exports; and vigorously advance technological innovation, translating R&D achievements into tangible business value. Additionally, the report emphasized the need to optimize foundational management practices across the board, strengthening the enterprise's core capabilities, enhancing its own production capacity, and improving the productivity of supplier partners.

The Golden Rooster heralds the arrival of spring, bringing forth a fresh start for all things. On February 15, HAGG Co., Ltd. held its 2017 Annual Work Conference and the Second Session of the 14th Employee Congress with great ceremony in the multi-functional hall. The meeting was chaired by Deputy General Manager Tang Hong.

The conference began with Deputy General Manager Yang Shuiyu reading out the company’s annual awards decision. Representatives recognized in various categories—including the annual “Dual Civilization Unit,” “Dual Civilization Model Worker,” “Outstanding Employee of the Year,” “Top Ten Young Skilled Professionals,” “ADVANCEd Employee Home,” and “Outstanding Youth League Collective”—then took to the stage one by one to receive their awards.

Hou Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered the annual work report titled "Strictly Upholding Party Discipline, Maximizing Our Role, and Providing Strong Political Support for the Company's Transformation, Upgrading, and Innovative Development." The report highlighted that 2016 was a pivotal year for the company to address its weaknesses and turn losses into profits. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, which played a central political role, the company rigorously implemented strict Party governance, earnestly carried out the "Study the Party Constitution, Study Series of Important Speeches, and Be a Model Communist Party Member" campaign, actively addressed shortcomings, vigorously pushed forward reforms, strengthened standardized management, and effectively leveraged the roles of mass organizations, thereby fostering a collaborative momentum for enterprise growth. Looking ahead to 2017, the Party Committee will steadfastly advance learning and education initiatives to ensure robust political support; closely focus on the "123" strategy to forge a new paradigm in Party building; and continue promoting integrity and clean governance while remaining committed to youth development, further enhancing the vital role of the Youth League organization.

Union Chairwoman Xu Guiqin delivered a work report titled "Turning a New Page, Climbing to New Heights, and Aligning Hearts and Efforts to Serve the Overall Strategic Goals and the Core Business of the Enterprise." The report reviewed the union's key activities over the past year and outlined its strategic vision and recommendations for 2017, focusing primarily on supporting the company’s core initiatives to achieve a win-win outcome for both the enterprise and its employees. Guided by the "craftsman" spirit, the report emphasized enhancing employee skills, strengthening corporate culture, and bolstering the union’s internal capacity-building efforts.

Union Vice Chairman and Standing Committee Member Ge Biao, along with Union Standing Committee Member Ding Lingyun, delivered special reports on union-related work.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mao Jianrong, Chairman and Party Secretary of the company, delivered a speech, noting: "2016 was an extraordinary year for Hangzhou Gear. As China's economy entered a 'new normal,' and with the careful guidance and support from the District State-owned Assets Corporation, our company—through the concerted efforts and relentless hard work of everyone—managed to turn losses into profits. Looking ahead to 2017, we must unite as one, face challenges head-on, and approach all our tasks with a strong sense of responsibility and mission.
