From November 7 to 9, the National Conference on Science and Technology in the Machinery Industry was held in Beijing. The conference summarized the achievements made in technological innovation within the machinery industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, recognized outstanding contributors, and outlined key priorities for scientific and technological development in the machinery industry during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
The "Key Technology Research and Industrialization of Large-Megawatt Wind Turbine Gearboxes," a project jointly undertaken by HAGG Corporation and Zhejiang University, has been awarded the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Award in the Machinery Industry for the 12th Five-Year Plan period. The project was designated as a major provincial-level science and technology special initiative by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2012, and it was successfully completed and passed acceptance testing in 2015.
The meeting also recognized the projects awarded the 2016 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Awards, among which HAGG’s project, "Research and Application of YH350 Hydraulic Transmission for Large-Scale Railway Maintenance Machinery," won the Second Prize.
