Recently, HAGG. secured supply orders from the East China Sea Branch and North Sea Branch of the State Oceanic Administration for main propulsion system equipment destined for a total of 9 nearshore marine environmental monitoring vessels—4 from the East China Sea Branch and 5 from the North Sea Branch—each with a capacity of 500 tons.

It is reported that the vessel features a round bilge hull form, an inclined bow, and a square stern. Its main structure is constructed using a steel-aluminum hybrid design, powered by a dual-engine, dual-controllable-pitch propeller propulsion system, complemented by a bow thruster. This design ensures excellent directional stability, superior maneuverability, and outstanding agility, enabling stable navigation even at the lowest controllable speed. Primarily, the ship will be deployed for nearshore marine environmental monitoring missions in China's key maritime regions. Hangzhou Gear & Propeller has taken on the responsibility of manufacturing the complete assembly of all equipment—excluding the main engine—including high-elastic components, gearboxes, controllable pitch propellers with their associated shaft systems, as well as control and monitoring/alarm systems.

Currently, all technical preparations for the project have been fully launched, and production manufacturing is also progressing smoothly and systematically. The Hangchi Forward Project team is meticulously organizing and carefully planning, collaborating closely with shipowners, design institutes, shipyards, and integration partners to ensure the seamless completion and high-quality delivery of this batch of vessels.

This time, the State Oceanic Administration's decision to entrust Hangzhou Gear Forward with the order for nine vessels not only fully recognizes the advanced nature of Hangzhou Gear Forward's controllable-pitch propeller technology, the reliability of its product quality, and the excellence of its after-sales service—but also marks a significant breakthrough for Hangzhou Gear Forward in its comprehensive capability to integrate, package, and deliver complete main propulsion systems. In the current challenging market environment, securing such an order is truly commendable, highlighting HAGG's strong brand reputation in marine equipment, robust market competitiveness, and solid overall strength.
