On the afternoon of November 17, the company held a Lean Competition and Proposal Improvement Project Launch Event in the multi-functional hall. During the event, the shortlisted projects for the annual Lean Competition were unveiled, and awards were presented on-site. Additionally, the company summarized its proposal improvement activities and encouraged all employees to continue actively participating in future initiatives. Attendees included Mao Jianrong, Chairman of the company; Feng Guang, General Manager; other company leaders; heads of various departments; plant directors; project proposers; and frontline team leaders from production workshops.

To further foster a company-wide culture of lean improvement and encourage all employees to actively participate in enhancing operational efficiency, the Group launched a company-wide proposal-driven improvement campaign starting in June, themed "Reduce Costs, Improve Quality, and Boost Efficiency." Over the past five months, employees from every department have enthusiastically joined the initiative. Among the 141 proposal projects submitted by various branch plants, eight—including the "Replacing Secondary Planetary Shaft Boring for Fans with Conventional Internal Grinding at the Gear Factory"—were selected as finalists for this year's Lean Project Presentation after being evaluated and reviewed by cross-departmental votes and the company's Proposal Improvement Management Leadership Team.

General Manager Feng Guang delivered a significant speech at the meeting, during which he fully praised the successful implementation of the proposal improvement initiative. He also urged all levels of the company—top management, middle managers, and frontline employees—to work together in unison, fostering an atmosphere of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" to drive the company's transformation and upgrade. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of engaging every employee on the company’s "Enterprise-Wide Proposal Improvement" platform, encouraging them to actively participate in and deepen the proposal improvement activities. In closing, General Manager Feng expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all staff members for their dedicated efforts and invaluable contributions to making the proposal improvement initiative a success.

Chairman Mao Jianrong first expressed his gratitude to the participants, organizers, and project presenters of the proposal improvement initiative for their meticulous preparation. He then delivered important instructions regarding the initiative: First, he urged all company employees and staff to embrace lean production and proposal improvements as key drivers for the company’s innovative development—focusing intensely and maintaining continuous efforts. Second, he emphasized the need to further enhance the initiative’s broad reach and grassroots participation, ensuring that the proposal improvement activities are deepened and carried out more effectively. Finally, he called for strengthened research into relevant policies, wider mobilization of employees, and increased employee engagement, ultimately fostering a culture of innovation and driving the adoption of forward-thinking development concepts.

After deliberation and evaluation by the judging panel, the project "Changing the Inner Bore Grinding Process of Fan Second-Stage Planetary Shafts from Gear Factory to Conventional Internal Cylindrical Grinding" was awarded first prize. The projects "Improvement of HC138 Assembly Process" from the Medium-Power Factory and "Reducing the Cost of CBN Turning Inserts" from the Process Department received second prize, while five other projects—including "Quality Control for Complex Thin-Walled Components" from the Equipment Factory—won third prize. Additionally, 12 projects, such as "Repurposing Waste Oil Drums into Clean Water Buckets" from the Warehouse Department, were honored with excellence awards. Wang Jianping from the Gear Factory was recognized as the Best Proposer, and 19 individuals, including Xu Min from the Equipment Factory, were awarded as Outstanding Proposers. Company leaders presented awards to all the winning proposers.
