On August 12, 2015, the 7th session of the 13th Trade Union Congress of the Group Company was successfully held. This year’s meeting once again featured a live video broadcast, with the main venue set up in the Multi-functional Hall and additional sub-venues established at Shanbei, Linjiang, and Fenye, among other locations. During the event, General Manager Feng Guang delivered a work report, Chairman Mao Jianrong delivered an important speech, and Deputy Director of the Trade Union Office, Ge Biao, presented the inspection report on the implementation of the collective contract for the first half of 2015. The meeting was chaired by Trade Union Chairwoman Xu Guiqin.
General Manager Feng Guang, in his work report titled "Striving for Reform and Innovation to Enhance Quality and Boost Efficiency for Steady Business Growth," provided a comprehensive review of the company's performance in the first half of 2015. He also outlined the following priorities for the second half of 2015:
First, set one clear goal—ensure the successful completion of the adjusted annual sales targets.
Second, continue advancing two key initiatives: enhancing product quality and improving operational efficiency, thereby elevating the reputation of the "ADVANCE" brand and fostering sustainable business growth.
Third, push ahead with three critical tasks: further reforming the compensation distribution system, upgrading the company’s IT infrastructure, and piloting innovative organizational structures within business units, all aimed at strengthening the enterprise’s internal drive for growth.
Fourth, focus on four strategic areas: driving technological innovation, developing the "13th Five-Year" plan, reinforcing leadership integrity, and optimizing the investment portfolio—each of which is essential for ensuring the company’s long-term prosperity.
Finally, emphasize five major areas of improvement: comprehensively enhancing marketing capabilities, refining cost management practices, strengthening managerial accounting skills, bolstering foundational process management, and streamlining production-sales coordination—all of which are crucial for building a robust modern enterprise.
He urged all employees and managers to remain steadfast in their confidence, take on responsibilities with courage, and work together harmoniously. By prioritizing quality enhancement and efficiency gains, the company can earn greater market recognition. Meanwhile, leveraging innovation as the driving force will propel transformative upgrades, enabling the enterprise to achieve steady growth amid the new economic normal.
Chairman Mao Jianrong outlined four key requirements for the company's work in the second half of the year: 1. Firmly maintain confidence and accurately assess the current situation; 2. Shift mindsets, accelerate changes in mechanisms and systems, and speed up the integration of industrialization and informatization; 3. Embrace innovation and reform, proactively proposing innovative measures while diligently fulfilling all tasks outlined in the General Manager's work report; 4. Stay pragmatic and take responsibility, ensuring that every task is implemented thoroughly and effectively.
Finally, Chairwoman Xu Guiqin outlined the requirements for implementing the spirit of the meeting: First, she urged all employee representative groups to hold thorough discussions and exchanges after the meeting. Second, it is essential to effectively communicate and promote the key messages from the meeting. Third, we must ensure that the会议精神 is fully embraced, encouraging employees to actively support and collaborate with the company in achieving its goals for the second half of the year.
