From August 23 to 24, the assessment team from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) conducted a site re-assessment of the High-Precision Gear Testing Center, based on documents including CNAS-CL01:2006 *Guidelines for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories*, CNAS-CL10:2012 *Application Guide for the Guidelines on the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in the Field of Chemical Testing*, and CNAS-CL19:2010 *Application Guide for the Guidelines on the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in the Field of Metal Material Testing*.
During the review process, the expert reviewers rigorously followed the evaluation plan, assessing the testing center's management and technical capabilities through methods such as listening to presentations, examining documents, conducting on-site inquiries, and performing live experiments. After a two-day on-site review, the expert panel commended the center for its qualified personnel, robust testing competence, and strong technical expertise. They concluded that the center’s systems are generally well-established, its quality assurance capabilities are solid, and its on-site testing results were highly satisfactory—meeting the essential requirements of the laboratory accreditation criteria. As a result, the panel agreed to recommend the center for CNAS accreditation. Center Director Wei Hongxian stated that she would take this review as an opportunity to further leverage the center’s strengths, carefully address the issues identified during the assessment, and implement proactive measures to ensure continuous improvement in both management standards and technical capabilities.
The successful completion of this re-evaluation once again demonstrates that the company's High-Precision Gear Testing Center has had its management and technical capabilities recognized.
