On July 1, 2014, all Party members, prospective Party members, and cadre at both levels of HAGG gathered at a cinema for a commemorative meeting, looking back on the Party's 93-year journey through thick and thin, and jointly celebrating the Party's 93rd anniversary.

The meeting began with the solemn sound of the national anthem, as attendees stood at attention, paying respectful tribute to the Party emblem prominently displayed on the rostrum. Mao Jianrong, Secretary of the company's Party Committee, along with Vice Secretaries Feng Guang and Li Chengwu, and four other members of the Party Committee, took their seats on the rostrum.

Li Chengwu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, first read out the decision on awarding the ADVANCEd Party Branches, ADVANCEd Party Groups, Outstanding Communist Party Members, and Active Party Member Candidates for 2013. During the ceremony, awards were presented on-site to five advanced Party branches—including the High-Power Gearbox Factory, Heat Treatment Plant, Party-Masses Department, Masen Company, and Process Management Department—as well as to 22 outstanding Communist Party members, including Wu Liangqing.

In 2013, outstanding Party member representatives Pan Xing and Jin Lijiang took the stage to share their experiences, highlighting their dedication to their work—always putting the collective good above personal interests, boldly pursuing challenges, and relentlessly striving for progress. They also pledged to continue upholding the exemplary role of a Party member. Following this, seven new Party members, including Song Bin and Deng Lin, solemnly swore their入党 (joining the Party) oath under the Party flag.

Following this, Ma Xiaoqiu, a professor from the Hangzhou Municipal Party School, delivered an insightful and accessible Party lesson to all attendees, focusing on the theme of "The Party's Mass Line Education and Practice Campaign."

Mao Jianrong, Party Secretary and Chairman, delivered a speech titled "Boost Confidence, Transform Mindsets, Vigorously Implement Measures, and Strive for the Stable Development of Our Company" at the meeting (the full text is published separately). In his speech, he outlined two key requirements for the second phase of the mass education and practice campaign: First, leaders must take the lead and set exemplary examples; second, employees should actively engage in the activities and cultivate a positive corporate image. Addressing the current situation facing the company, Chairman Mao put forward three important points: First, we must strengthen our confidence—acknowledging both challenges and difficulties while firmly believing in our ability to achieve sustainable growth. Second, we need to shift our mindset by cultivating a strong sense of crisis, along with a heightened awareness of quality and efficiency. Finally, we must ensure rigorous implementation, focusing on enhancing product quality and boosting operational efficiency. This includes effectively carrying out the "Two-Year Implementation Plan for Employee Skills Training, Assessment, and Competitions," as well as diligently fulfilling the annual goals and objectives. Above all, every Party member should demonstrate a profound sense of dedication and responsibility, contributing wholeheartedly to the steady development of Hangchi Gear.

Finally, Feng Guang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, analyzed HAGG’s strengths: high-quality assets; controllable risks; a wide range of technological expertise and diverse product offerings; and a relatively stable workforce that is both highly skilled and deeply committed to the company. He urged Hangchi’s Party members and leading cadres to strengthen their confidence, maintain a clear understanding of the current economic situation, and firmly embrace the drive for transformation and upgrading while diligently enhancing their internal capabilities. Additionally, he encouraged them to actively participate in labor competitions, the two-year initiative focused on "Improving Quality and Boosting Efficiency," as well as employee-driven activities centered around "Skills, Competitions, and Training." Above all, they should set an example by embodying the exemplary mindset, work ethic, and tenacious spirit of outstanding Communist Party members, fully stepping up to fulfill their responsibilities as Party members.

The meeting was chaired by Feng Guang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager.
