On April 11, 2014, the company held its 2014 Science and Technology Association Work Conference to review the past, chart a course for the future, and outline forward-thinking strategies along with specific plans for the Association's activities in the coming year.
The meeting was chaired by Li Chengwu, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the company. Senior executives at or above the middle-level managerial position, members of the Science and Technology Association's specialized committees, heads of science association study groups, and representatives who won awards for their "Talk, Compare, and Implement" project proposals attended the meeting. Dai Hongchang, Vice Chairman of the company's Science and Technology Association, delivered a work report titled "Innovating Science Association Work, Enhancing Service Capabilities, and Making New Contributions to Help the Enterprise 'Improve Quality and Boost Efficiency'." Yu Yongping, Director of the Science Popularization Department of the Hangzhou Science and Technology Association, and Jiang Xingda, Chairman of the Xiaoshan District Science and Technology Association, were present to provide guidance and deliver speeches.
