The ZJV1800 gearbox, manufactured for the first time by a high-power plant for use in offshore work platform vessels, was recently shipped to the customer unit.
This product features a single-stage spiral bevel gear transmission structure for its main drive, with horizontal input and vertical downward output. It is classified as a fully rotating lateral thrust device. The gearbox has a compact external space, and the customer has specific requirements regarding its overall dimensions—leading to numerous constraints. Additionally, the high input speed poses significant challenges during machining and manufacturing, particularly in terms of ensuring superior assembly quality. Under tight deadlines and urgent project demands, the high-power plant meticulously planned and efficiently coordinated the process, collaborating closely with relevant departments to successfully complete the product, which subsequently passed the required ship inspection.
