Recently, the GCH450 marine gearbox—developed and trial-produced entirely by the company—successfully passed the tripartite factory acceptance test and has now been officially launched.
The GCH450 marine gearbox is the main propulsion system gearbox custom-designed for the Qingdao Marine Geological Survey Vessel. This type of gearbox features high design standards and requires a lightweight construction. It comes equipped with a clutch, enabling both speed reduction and efficient handling of propeller thrust. Additionally, the gearbox includes a PTO function, and its bearing supports are reinforced with optimally arranged stiffeners to ensure reliable transmission of propeller thrust.
