近期，两艘搭载杭齿某型船用齿轮箱的长江“巨无霸”货轮在四川泸州下水试航。经过三个月实际航行，该齿轮箱性能优异，运行状况良好，获得了船东的赞赏。
两艘船的规格为：船长105米，型宽16.2米，载重量达6000吨，主要运输铁矿石、煤炭、钢材等货物。该型船用齿轮箱的应用为长江上游干线运输船舶进入大型化、标准化的时代提供了传动力。
