On November 22, the Mobilization and Deployment Meeting for Accelerating the Construction of an Innovative Zhejiang Province and Promoting the Development of New-Generation Productivity Tailored to Local Conditions, along with the Provincial Science and Technology Awards Ceremony, was held in Hangzhou. The event honored 310 projects awarded the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Prizes for 2023. Among them, the project "Design, Manufacturing, and Intelligent Operation & Maintenance Key Technologies for High-Performance Heavy-Duty Gear Transmission Systems," completed with the participation of HAGG., won the First Prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award category.
This project proposes a high-torque-density, lightweight design approach for high-performance heavy-duty gearboxes, along with optimized sliding bearing technology for gear transmission systems. It also develops a gearbox condition-monitoring and intelligent operation-and-maintenance system based on digital twin technology. These advancements are expected to significantly enhance the operational reliability of large-scale, heavy-duty gear transmission systems, effectively supporting the independent design and manufacturing of heavy-duty gear transmission devices across multiple industries. Ultimately, this work makes a vital contribution to advancing technological progress in China's gear transmission industry and strengthening its global competitiveness.
