Recently, the China General Machinery Parts Industry Association's Members' Representative Conference was successfully held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Marking the association's 30th anniversary, the meeting focused on thoroughly implementing the guiding principles of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Central Economic Work Conference, and the Two Sessions. It reviewed and shared insights into the industry's performance in 2018, as well as the association's key initiatives. Additionally, the conference explored how to proactively address the complex international landscape under the guidance of national policies, foster a favorable production and ecological environment, and further advance the steady, healthy, and sustainable development理念.
Xu Huadong, Vice Mayor of Yinchuan City, Feng Guang, Chairman of the China General Machinery Parts Industry Association, and Yang Xuetong, Honorary Chairman, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Yao Haiguang, Executive Vice Chairman, also attended and presented the association’s report. Representatives from various associations, member organizations, and association members participated in the event.
The conference announced and presented awards for the "Outstanding Products of the Machinery Industry Commemorating 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up," the "Meritorious Achievement Award" marking the Association's 30th anniversary, the "Outstanding Contributor Award" honoring individuals who have made significant contributions during the same period, as well as the newly selected "ADVANCEd Branch Associations" and "Exemplary Association Workers." Notably, the company's "Marine Gearboxes and Ship Propulsion Systems" were recognized as "Outstanding Products of the Machinery Industry Celebrating 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up," while Chairman and Party Secretary Feng Guang was honored with the prestigious "Meritorious Achievement Award" to commemorate the Association's 30th anniversary, and Chief Engineer Song Bin was awarded the distinguished title of "Outstanding Contributor" in recognition of his remarkable contributions over the past three decades.
