On May 8, Qiu Guoping, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Xiaoshan District State-owned Assets Operation General Company, along with Chen Jian, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and other relevant leaders, visited the company for a research visit. Feng Guang, Chairman of the company, and Yang Shuiyu, General Manager, led all members of the leadership team as well as mid-level and higher-ranking executives to participate in the visit.

The research activity was chaired by Feng Guang, while Yang Shuiyu reported on the company's production and operational performance for the first quarter, as well as the plans for the next phase of work. Hou Bo then presented an update on the progress of the company's Party Committee leadership transition.

After listening to a briefing on the company's relevant situation, Chen Jian instructed Hangchi to properly carry out the Party committee leadership transition, ensuring the process proceeds smoothly. He also emphasized the need to further strengthen Party building and disciplinary inspection efforts, reinforcing Party leadership to drive enterprise development, and stepping up efforts to build and promote distinctive Party-building brands.

Qiu Guoping analyzed the current situation and challenges facing HAGG, while also outlining a clear direction for its future development. He emphasized that, as a publicly listed state-owned enterprise, Hangzhou Gear holds a pivotal role in driving industrial economic growth in Xiaoshan District. Looking ahead, he highlighted three key areas where the company must deliver outstanding results: First, seize the momentum by capitalizing on the broader trends of industry-city integration, military-civilian collaboration, and the shift toward intelligent manufacturing in Xiaoshan District. Under this favorable backdrop, Hangzhou Gear should proactively embrace opportunities, fully leveraging its institutional, technological, resource, and talent advantages to excel in advancing industrial digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives. Second, harness external support and resources by focusing on Xiaoshan’s strategic “4286” industrial platform. The company should actively join the fast track of transformation and upgrading within traditional industrial parks, accelerating its own momentum shift and fostering innovative business models. This will enable Hangzhou Gear to expand its operational scope and optimize resource allocation effectively. Finally, leverage the current upward trajectory by prioritizing five critical areas: further emancipating minds; fostering continuous innovation and development; strengthening management practices; stepping up accountability and responsibility; and reinforcing Party leadership to guide the company’s progress.

Finally, Feng Guang, Chairman of the company, expressed gratitude to the leaders of the State-owned Assets Corporation for their care, support, and guidance. He stated that under the leadership of the Party Committee of the corporation, Hangzhou Gear will seize the opportunity presented by the upcoming Party Committee reshuffle—strengthening the leadership team, building a capable cadre, and leading the workforce—to wholeheartedly drive the transformation and development of the Hangzhou Group.
