Siemens Joins the Launch Meeting for HAGG Company's Smart Manufacturing Project Engineering

On January 11, HAGG Company held the project kickoff meeting for Siemens' entry into Hangchi's intelligent manufacturing initiative in the multi-functional hall. Attendees included the company's two-level management team members and representatives from relevant working groups.

Xinmeng Company's Project Engineering Leader for the Intelligent Manufacturing Initiative, Dai Jiming, first introduced the project's background, key components, personnel arrangement, timeline planning, and implementation steps. Since the project kicked off on January 11, the plan is to complete the entire engineering project within six months.

Chairman Feng Guang stated that the intelligent manufacturing project is a significant milestone in Hangchi's development—a historic strategic opportunity, as well as a major test for the company. To stay ahead of the market and gain a competitive edge, the only way forward is to transform core management practices and strengthen technical oversight.

In this groundbreaking project, Hangzhou Gear’s cadres and employees must unify their thinking, place utmost importance on it, and work together seamlessly—both top and bottom. Each branch factory and department should collaborate closely with the project team, steadily and effectively advancing the project timeline. Leaders at all levels are encouraged to fully understand and actively engage in the initiative, mobilizing the entire management team to deliver outstanding results. We must focus on practical implementation rather than mere superficial compliance.

During the project, it's essential to ensure that "four aspects are fully in place": 1. Goals are clearly defined, with a focus on implementing the "three key initiatives." 2. Responsibilities are firmly assigned, making sure each department understands its role and accountability. 3. Awareness is raised—recognizing the critical importance of the intelligent manufacturing project in strengthening Hangchi's core competitiveness. 4. Actions are executed effectively, adhering to the timeline while maintaining quality and delivering results on time.

While fully executing the smart manufacturing project, we must achieve three objectives: enhance foundational management, cultivate a smart management team, and complete the base construction.

At the conclusion of the meeting, General Manager Yang Shuiyu once again emphasized: "Leaders at both levels must take on a strong sense of responsibility and work closely with Siemens' project team to ensure the smooth execution of this initiative. We should view the smart manufacturing project as an opportunity to enhance Hangchi's overall strength and foster a transformative mindset. All employees—managers and staff alike—must unite their efforts to successfully complete this groundbreaking smart manufacturing project."
