Hangcha Group Corporation's master technician works wonders to revive machinery—Pakistani sugar machine users unanimously give their thumbs up.

In the early morning of September 14, 2018, good news arrived from the distant Lahore Sugar Factory in Pakistan: master technicians dispatched by HAGG had skillfully restored the nearly paralyzed sugar-extraction production line to normal operation.

It is well known that sugar mill gearboxes are critical equipment in sugarcane processing production lines. Hangzhou Gear has decades of experience in the manufacturing, production, and after-sales service of these products, earning a solid reputation within the industry. According to incomplete statistics, HAGG’s sugar mill gearboxes are currently in use at at least five major sugar mills in Pakistan—on more than 10 production lines across these facilities. Some of these products have been in service for over 13 years.

Since 2012, HAGG has organized its sixth technical, trade, and marketing expert team to Pakistan to provide users of sugar machinery with technical support, maintenance services, and training.

This time, the user reported a repair issue with an NSY710 product that was installed six years ago. Due to the harsh operating conditions of the sugar mill—specifically, its 24-hour operation during the crushing season—many of these machines have already entered their major overhaul period. Hangzhou Gear experts conducted a detailed diagnosis using both text and visuals to pinpoint the root cause of the failure and provided comprehensive repair guidance. However, local conditions fell short of meeting the necessary requirements, and coupled with insufficient technical expertise on the Pakistani side, the sugar factory encountered significant challenges. As the next sugar-crushing season rapidly approached, the entire production line had come to a standstill. In mid-August 2018, the Pakistani side sent an urgent "rescue letter" to Hangzhou Gear, requesting the company to dispatch experts for on-site service and training support. Faced with a product well beyond its warranty period, would Hangzhou Gear refuse to send technicians to provide assistance? The trading company swiftly reported the situation to the group headquarters, prompting General Manager Yang Shuiyu to immediately issue instructions. As a result, Vice Presidents Huang Zhiheng and Zhang Meng promptly assembled an expert service team comprising personnel from Linjiang ADVANCE and ADVANCE Trading Company—namely Wang Zuquan and Ji Wei—and dispatched them without delay to Lahore, Pakistan. Despite the arduous journey and carrying dozens of kilograms of specialized tools, the service team arrived just in time, successfully resolving the critical crisis at the Pakistani sugar mill within three grueling days.

After the maintenance work is completed, Hangzhou Gear experts will further train the sugar factory technicians on maintenance knowledge, striving to quickly achieve localization of after-sales services for critical equipment previously provided overseas.
