On July 13, Zheng Rongsheng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, along with a delegation, visited HAGG Corporation to extend their greetings to Lu Lijun, the Hangzhou Craftsman. They were received by Yang Shuiyu, General Manager of the company; Hou Bo, Deputy General Manager; and Xu Guiqin, Chairwoman of the Trade Union, among other senior leaders.

Yang Shuiyu introduced the leaders to the basic overview of HAGG Company, as well as the efforts it has made in cultivating and developing skilled artisans. Lu Lijun expressed his gratitude to the leaders for their generous support, promising to leverage his own strengths, carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship, and contribute both to the company and society.

Zheng Rongsheng pointed out that Hangzhou has made significant efforts in recent years, especially in preserving and promoting the spirit of craftsmanship. This event serves two key purposes: first, it conveys the upper-level government's heartfelt summer greetings to Hangzhou’s master craftsman, Lu Lijun, as well as to all the dedicated employees of Hangzhou Gear Co., Ltd. who are working tirelessly on the front lines; and second, it pays tribute to these exceptional artisans, encouraging them to continue passing down and upholding this inspiring spirit. To ensure that the spirit of craftsmanship becomes one of Hangzhou’s core values and a mainstream mindset among workers, we must intensify education and publicity efforts to create a vibrant atmosphere, while also maximizing its impact and amplifying its positive effects. Meanwhile, departments at all levels should step up their management and service initiatives, showing genuine care and support for our esteemed craftsmen. On the occasion, Zheng Rongsheng also presented Lu Lijun, the honored craftsman, with the May Day Labor Medal and its accompanying certificate.
