Strictly governing the Party—always on the journey ahead—HAGG Company Holds a Commemorative Meeting for the 96th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China

　　On the afternoon of June 30, all Party members, prospective Party members, and cadres from both levels of HAGG Company gathered at the Hangchi Cinema Hall for a commemorative meeting marking the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. During the event, the company recognized its outstanding Party branches and exemplary Communist Party members for 2016, and held an oath-taking ceremony for newly admitted Party members. All attendees listened to a special Party lesson delivered by Feng Guang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, as they collectively reflected on the Party's glorious history and celebrated its remarkable achievements. The meeting was chaired by Hou Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

　　Amidst the national anthem, the commemorative conference officially began as Party Secretary and Chairman Mao Jianrong read out the commendation decisions: The Party-Masses Branch, the Medium-Power Plant Branch, the High-Power Plant Branch, the Comprehensive Branch for Finance, Accounting, and Investment, and the Comprehensive Branch for Enterprise Management were awarded the title of "Outstanding Annual Party Branch" for 2016. Meanwhile, 21 party members—including Yan Jiwen—were honored with the "Annual Outstanding Party Member" award. The winning party members and branch representatives took to the stage to receive their well-deserved accolades and heartfelt congratulations from the audience.

　　Following this, He Zheng, Minister of the Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, presided over the oath-taking ceremony for new party members. Members of the Party Committee presented the new members with their Party badges and handed them copies of the Party Constitution. Nine newly admitted party members then stood in formation, facing the Party flag as they solemnly recited their vows. All party members rose to their feet, echoing the resolute pledges that underscored their commitment as Communist Party members.

　　At the conclusion of the commemorative conference, Vice Secretary Feng delivered a Party lecture titled "Fully Promoting Strict Party Governance to Provide Strong Support for Enhancing Enterprises' Core Competitiveness." The lecture was divided into two parts: the first part, "Strict Party Governance—Always on the Road," in which Vice Secretary Feng elaborated on the strategic layout of the "Four Comprehensives"; and the second part, "Strict Party Governance Starts with Me," emphasizing that strict governance must begin within the Party organization itself, extend to each individual Party member, and ultimately rely on the establishment of effective mechanisms. Vice Secretary Feng urged all Party members to always remember our Party's glorious 96-year history, approaching their duties with a strong sense of political responsibility, a positive mindset, and a solid work ethic. He encouraged everyone to stay true to their identity, remain committed to their original aspirations, maintain unwavering resolve, and bravely tackle challenges head-on. This, he said, would help accelerate the company’s ability to compete under the new normal, providing robust momentum for the group company to achieve transformation and upgrading, thereby bolstering its core competitiveness and ensuring a successful convening of the 19th National Congress. The commemorative conference concluded solemnly with the singing of the Internationale.
