HAGG Company Successfully Passes On-site Verification for Friction Material Production License

On June 6, 2017, the Friction Materials Review Division of the National Office for Industrial Product Production Licensing conducted an on-site verification of friction materials production at HAGG Co., Ltd. The verification team was composed of experts from the National Non-Metallic Mineral Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Xianyang Non-Metallic Mineral Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Product Quality and Safety Testing, and other institutions. Meanwhile, the Xiaoshan District Administration for Market Regulation closely observed the entire audit process.
This verification primarily focused on personnel competency related to friction plate production, as well as production inspection equipment, product standards, technical documentation, and production process control—areas involving the company’s Powder Metallurgy Plant, Quality Assurance Department, Process Management Department, Human Resources Department, and other relevant units. The verification team’s experts engaged in discussions with key stakeholders and management personnel, while also gathering critical information about the company’s friction material production through on-site observations and detailed records. They commended the company for its overall friction plate manufacturing practices, while also offering constructive feedback and recommendations addressing certain issues identified during the process.
Finally, the inspection team unanimously concluded that HAGG Company possesses the relevant production capabilities for both paper-based friction materials and sintered metal friction materials, and the on-site verification of its production license was deemed satisfactory.
