On the afternoon of June 13, Lu Chunqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Xiaoshan District Committee and District Mayor, along with Wei Daqing, Deputy District Mayor, visited Hangzhou Gear for a research visit, accompanied by leaders from relevant government departments. They were warmly received and guided throughout the visit by Mao Jianrong, Chairman of the HAGG, and other company executives.
Mr. Mao first briefed District Chief Lu on Hangzhou Gear’s current production and operational status, as well as its product structure and industrial layout. He also reported on the company’s temporary challenges and difficulties encountered under the current circumstances, along with the corresponding countermeasures, while expressing hope that the government could provide further assistance and support.
After listening to the report, District Chief Lu pointed out that Hangzhou Gear is a company that once achieved remarkable success in Xiaoshan's history and remains a source of pride for the region. In the face of the current overall downturn in manufacturing, HAGG should focus on the following key areas: First, the company must stay true to its core strengths, maintain confidence, and firmly pursue its own path of industrial development. Second, it should explore diverse market opportunities, enhance the technological sophistication of its products, and expand and extend the value of its offerings. Third, Hangzhou Gear needs to accelerate its reforms of systems and mechanisms, striving to adapt swiftly to the evolving economic landscape. Finally, the company should actively seek to attract strategic partners, enabling it to grow stronger and larger in its industry. At the same time, District Chief Lu emphasized that relevant government departments will provide robust support and assistance to Hangzhou Gear in every possible way, working together to help the company navigate through the challenging transition and transformation phase as quickly as possible.
