On April 13, 2016, Chu Jingchun, General Manager of Guodian United Power Technology Co., Ltd., along with Feng Jian, Deputy General Manager, and their delegation, paid a visit to Hangzhou Gear. They were received by Feng Guang, General Manager of the Group Company, and Zhang Meng, Deputy General Manager, at Linjiang Company. During the meeting, they discussed the joint power 1.5MW optimization and improvement project as well as the 2MW project.
Regarding the 1.5MW optimization and improvement project, Mr. Chu and his delegation carefully inspected the wind turbine gearbox components that were disassembled after the accelerated life tests conducted on-site in Linjiang. They expressed their approval of Hangchi's innovative design featuring bearings without an outer race. Combined with the previously excellent test results and the positive feedback from the review experts, they concluded that Hangchi's improved solution has been successful. Additionally, Mr. Chu and his team gathered information related to the 2MW project.
Hangchi General Manager Feng Guang stated that Hangchi boasts advanced flexible pin and differential分流 technology, with planetary gears featuring bearings that eliminate the need for an outer ring—ensuring rigorous quality control and fostering strong confidence in its products. Hangchi is fully equipped to supply high-quality wind turbine gearboxes to Guodian United Power.
Mr. Chu and his delegation expressed their appreciation for Hangchi Wind Power's profound expertise in gearbox technology, its stable team, and cutting-edge innovations within the wind power business segment. Both parties reached a consensus on future collaboration plans.
