On August 20, 2014, the 5th session of the 13th Trade Union Congress of the Group Company was successfully held. The main venue for the meeting was the Multi-functional Hall, with additional sub-venues set up at Shanbei, Fenye, Linjiang, and other locations. During the event, General Manager Feng Guang delivered a work report, Chairman Mao Jianrong delivered an important speech, and Deputy Director of the Trade Union Office, Ge Biao, presented the inspection report on the implementation of the collective contract for the first half of 2014. The meeting was chaired by Trade Union Chairwoman Xu Guiqin.
General Manager Feng Guang, in his work report titled "Firmly Uphold Confidence, Strengthen Internal Capabilities, and Promote Sustainable and Stable Business Growth," provided a comprehensive review of the company's performance during the first half of 2014, while also identifying areas where improvements were needed. He urged all employees and cadres to address these shortcomings effectively in the second half of the year. Looking ahead to the company's operations in the latter half of 2014, General Manager Feng outlined specific expectations for key areas such as marketing strategies, quality enhancement, efficiency improvement, team building, technological innovation, and the development of innovative business models. He emphasized that all mid- and high-level managers must clearly understand the current market dynamics, remain steadfast in their confidence, diligently hone their internal capabilities, and resolutely commit to executing and achieving the major tasks set forth for the year.
Chairman Mao Jianrong first briefed on the basic situation of the group company's educational practice campaign under the Party's mass line, highlighting the achievements made by the group, as well as the existing issues and areas for improvement. Addressing the company's work in the second half of 2014, Chairman Mao put forward two key requirements: First, leading cadres must genuinely transform their work styles and ensure that tasks are carried out effectively; second, all managers and employees should remain steadfast in their confidence, embrace a sense of ownership, and actively safeguard both the interests of the enterprise and those of its workforce.
Finally, Chairwoman Xu Guiqin put forward the following requirements for implementing the spirit of the meeting: First, she urged all employee representative groups to hold thorough discussions after the meeting and ensure that the会议精神 is effectively communicated to every employee. Second, while putting the meeting’s directives into practice, employees should be encouraged to actively support and cooperate with the company in achieving its key objectives for the second half of the year.
