Shaoxing's two independently developed new products have passed the provincial-level new product appraisal.

On August 16, 2014, the provincial-level new product appraisal meeting was held in the conference room of Shaoxing ADVANCE Gearbox Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group Company. The two newly developed provincial-level products—namely, the "SBZ800S Speed-increasing Gearbox" (No.: 2013D60SA610066) and the "9YFQ-1.9/D Agricultural Machinery Gearbox" (No.: 2013D60SA610067)—were independently researched and developed by the company. The meeting was organized by the Shaoxing Science and Technology Bureau, with an appraisal committee composed of experts from institutions such as the Zhejiang Provincial Society of Mechanical Engineering and Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences. Attendees included company leaders and staff, including Ji Yue, General Manager of Shaoxing ADVANCE, along with other senior executives.

At the meeting, the appraisal committee listened separately to reports on the trial manufacturing summaries of the two new products, product testing results, user feedback, and scientific and technological novelty searches. They reviewed the relevant documentation and conducted detailed inquiries regarding product development and economic benefits. After thorough discussions, the committee reached the following appraisal conclusions: The submitted materials are complete, standardized, and fully meet the appraisal requirements. Both products have been successfully developed, with all performance indicators satisfying the specifications outlined in the project task book. Notably, each product features innovative structural designs—resulting in one utility model patent authorization and one invention patent application being accepted, respectively. Among them, the "SBZ800S Speed-Increasing Gearbox" is specifically designed for fireboat pump drives, incorporating clutch and braking functions while connecting directly to the pump. It boasts a compact configuration, excellent rigidity, smooth and stable gear engagement, and exceptional reliability—placing it at the forefront of similar domestic products. Meanwhile, the "9YFQ-1.9/D Agricultural Machinery Gearbox" is tailored for use with forage harvesting equipment, offering high- and low-speed shifting capabilities that can seamlessly integrate with engines operating at varying speeds. This gearbox stands out for its simple yet reliable design, along with convenient operation and maintenance. Furthermore, the production equipment, process tools, and testing methods employed are fully capable of supporting mass production. Based on these findings, the committee unanimously agreed to approve the products for commercialization.

This time, the two products successfully passed the provincial-level new product evaluation, fully demonstrating Shaoxing ADVANCE Company's independent R&D capabilities and laying a solid foundation for the company to expand into the agricultural machinery and specialized gearbox product sectors, as well as to compete in both domestic and international markets.
