Hangzhou Gear, with its independently designed and manufactured 2.5MW wind turbine gearbox FZCR2500—boasting proprietary intellectual property rights—has supplied a total of six gearboxes to Zhejiang Yunda Wind Power Engineering Co., Ltd., specifically tailored for Zhejiang Yunda Wind Power's WD103-2500 wind turbine units. After six months of hoisting and commissioning, the first unit successfully entered grid-connected operation at 9:00 PM on May 20, 2014, at the Ningbo Zhongying Fuquan Mountain Wind Farm. The wind farm features a total of 18 turbines, each with a rotor height of 80 meters and a swept area equivalent to 1.16 standard football fields. This makes it currently the largest wind turbine installation in Zhejiang Province. Each of Hangzhou Gear, Nanjing High-Speed Gear, and China National Heavy Duty Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has provided six gearboxes for this project, creating a competitive platform for Hangzhou Gear within the wind power gearbox sector. We sincerely hope that Hangzhou Gear's wind power division will usher in a new era of growth and success!
