From February 24 to 27, 2014, the China New Era Certification Center conducted a four-day comprehensive assessment of Hangzhou Gear's GJB9001B-2009 military product quality management system, along with the first surveillance audit of its GB/T19001-2008 civilian product quality management system and a change audit for Linjiang Company. This audit covered five major product categories: marine gearboxes, construction machinery transmissions, automotive gearboxes, powder metallurgy components, and wind turbine gearbox units.
After review, the expert panel positively acknowledged Hangchi's leadership for their strong emphasis on the effective operation and maintenance of the quality management system, the suitability of the quality policy, and adequate resource allocation. The panel unanimously concluded that Hangchi's military-standard quality system is functioning effectively, while its civilian-standard quality system is also running efficiently—and recommended to the New Era Certification Center that Hangchi maintain its registration status. Finally, Feng Guang, General Manager of HAGG Company, expressed gratitude to the audit team for their thorough work and urged all departments within the company to earnestly address the issues identified during the audit, proactively applying lessons learned to prevent similar problems in the future. He emphasized the importance of strengthening quality management practices to ensure the smooth operation of the entire quality system.
