On the afternoon of January 4, 2014, the Group Company held a meeting on safe production at the multi-functional hall on the second floor, along with a signing ceremony for the "2014 Responsibility Agreements on Safety, Environmental Protection, and Fire Prevention Targets." The meeting was chaired by Deputy General Manager Xu Xueli, and attended by more than 160 participants, including Chairman Mao Jianrong, General Manager Feng Guang, Trade Union Chairwoman Xu Guiqin, as well as all cadre members from both levels, chairpersons of trade union branches from various units, safety officers, and environmental protection personnel. During the meeting, Hu Minggang, Director of the Comprehensive Support Department, delivered a summary report on the company's safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention efforts in 2013, and outlined the key priorities for these areas in 2014.
In 2013, the company adhered to the guiding principles of "safety first, prevention-oriented, accident reduction, and continuous improvement" in its work related to safe production, environmental protection, and fire management. Throughout the year, there were no fatalities, no serious injuries, no major environmental pollution incidents, and no significant fires. As a result, the company was recommended as the Hangzhou City Model Safe Enterprise for 2013.
Zhou Hongliang, the director of the Gear Factory, Tu Xiaolong, the director of the Heat Treatment Factory, and Sun Yugen, the director of the Torque Converter Factory, each delivered speeches at the meeting. Meanwhile, General Manager Feng Guang, representing the company, signed the "2014 Safety, Environmental Protection, and Fire Prevention Target Management Responsibility Agreements" with the respective departments.
At the meeting, Xu Guiqin, Chairperson of the company's trade union, outlined the requirements for 2014 safety production work: strengthen labor protection supervision and inspection; effectively carry out publicity, education, and training efforts; and continue to deepen the "Ankang Cup" competition activities.
Chairman Mao Jianrong and General Manager Feng Guang delivered important speeches at the meeting. General Manager Feng outlined four key requirements for the year 2014: First, ensure that leadership at all levels within the company places utmost importance on safety; second, firmly implement preventive measures as the priority, while strengthening education and training efforts. Third, fully enforce the responsibility system for safe production and the primary accountability of each department, ensuring that "those in charge are responsible, and those responsible bear the consequences." Fourth, while prioritizing safe production, proactively and diligently address environmental protection and fire safety initiatives. Finally, he emphasized the need to work steadily and effectively, leaving no stone unturned in achieving the company’s goals for safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention in the coming year. Meanwhile, Chairman Mao expressed his gratitude to leaders of various functional departments, as well as to safety officers and environmental personnel at both levels, for their outstanding contributions in 2013. He underscored that the target responsibility agreements signed during the recent conference represent not only a commitment but also a clear sense of duty and accountability. Additionally, he stressed the importance of intensifying safety, environmental, and fire safety education among employees, fostering greater awareness about environmental protection and cost-saving practices.
