The newly developed dual-engine parallel gearbox, produced through trial manufacturing at a high-power plant, was recently delivered to users for operation.
This gearbox is designed for use on offshore platform support vessels. It features two low-power diesel engines driving a single high-power reduction gearbox, helping to minimize investment while significantly reducing energy consumption and emissions. Key components of the gearbox incorporate specialized sliding bearings, ensuring exceptional load-bearing capacity and extending its service life. Senior management at the high-power plant place great importance on the trial production of this product, assembling a dedicated team to support engineers in overcoming technical challenges. They’ve worked tirelessly—racing against time and pushing ahead with the schedule—to tackle the various difficulties encountered during the prototyping process, making every effort to meet market demand effectively.
