To vigorously promote the spirit of craftsmanship, foster a robust culture of craftsmanship, and create a platform for company employees to showcase their skills, thereby advancing the development of "Hangchi Craftsmen" and deepening the initiative to enhance blue-collar workforce quality, the company organized a technical competition on overhead crane operation from July 12 to 13, based on the overall arrangement of the 2019 Employee Education and Training Plan. A total of 16 overhead crane operators from nine different units participated in this competition. Attending the event were Hou Bo, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company; Xu Guiqin, Chairman of the Trade Union; Sun Jin, Deputy Head of the Human Resources Department; Ge Biao, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, among others. The competition also received strong support from the Automotive Products Division.

At 8 a.m. on the 13th, contestants braved the heavy rain and waded through floodwaters as they arrived early at the automotive products division's packing area, each one eager to compete. Although their clothes were soaked and their shoes drenched, their competitive spirit remained undiminished. With a single whistle from the referee, the competition officially kicked off. This time, the event was designed based on the company's actual production scenarios—specifically, performing curved-path lifting operations with precise positioning of suspended loads. Key tasks included mastering height control during the initial lift, navigating a curved path while holding water-filled buckets, guiding the buckets through doorways, and finally placing them accurately at designated points. The evaluation also placed strong emphasis on adherence to safety protocols throughout the process. The entire competition unfolded in an atmosphere of intense focus and fierce determination.

After a fair, impartial, meticulous, serious, standardized, and orderly competition encompassing both theoretical and practical components, Wen Renxue from the Equipment Factory won first prize; Huang Yi from the Equipment Factory and Lu Canjun from the Powder Metallurgy Factory each took home second prize; while Liu Zhongxian from the Warehouse Management Department, Chen Shuai from the Torque Converter Factory, Ni Hongliang from the Medium-Power Factory, Rong Shengyang from the Heat Treatment Factory, and Xu Qiren from the Warehouse Management Department were awarded third prize. The company encourages the winning contestants to keep up the excellent work, strive for continuous improvement, and achieve even greater success in their future endeavors. At the same time, we hope that all employees will learn from them, diligently enhance their professional skills and competencies, and contribute more significantly to the company’s growth and development.
