Recently, the high-power twin-engine parallel marine gearbox developed by the company successfully passed factory acceptance after being jointly reviewed and subjected to various tests by representatives from the customer organization. This gearbox is currently the largest-specification twin-engine parallel main propulsion gearbox produced by the company, featuring dual-engine input and equipped with two additional auxiliary power outputs (PTOs). Notably, the PTOs are required to have a primary structural design and will be integrated into the main propulsion system of ocean-going vessels.
The successful acceptance of this gearbox demonstrates Hangzhou Gear's mature design and manufacturing capabilities for high-power, dual-engine parallel-drive gearboxes, further solidifying the company's leading position in the marine machinery market under the Hangchi brand—and also providing valuable experience for the development of future similar projects.
