Recently, the GCD860 water-jet-propelled high-power, high-speed marine gearbox developed by our company was recognized by the Hangzhou Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology as one of the first batch of domestically pioneering major technical equipment products in Hangzhou for 2012, following enterprise application, expert recommendations, and preliminary reviews conducted at the district, county (city) levels, as well as rigorous expert evaluations.
The GCD860 marine gearbox is specifically designed for use in high-power, high-speed vessels that require low noise levels—such as air-cushion vehicles equipped with waterjet propulsion, hydrofoil boats, integrated law enforcement ships, and high-speed speedboats. This product boasts exceptional power transmission capabilities, along with advanced lightweight design features (weighing approximately 8,200 kg—about two-thirds the weight of comparable marine gearboxes offering the same power output)—while maintaining remarkably low noise levels and achieving high mechanical efficiency. Its technical specifications have reached the cutting-edge standards of similar foreign products, enabling it to effectively replace imported alternatives. In October 2012, this product successfully passed the provincial-level new industrial product evaluation conducted by the Zhejiang Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology.
Meanwhile, the "GCD860 Marine Gearbox" and the "Tilt-Transmission Marine Gearbox" were awarded the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Xiaoshan District in 2012, following expert review by the Xiaoshan District Science and Technology Bureau and approval by the Awards Committee.
